TLDR
Image-to-video generation is now live — you can animate any image on the platform into a video. We’ve also added complete SVG model support, refreshed the browse page to include videos, and shipped dozens of fixes and refinements. On the marketing side, we’re actively bringing more creators into the fold.
Turn Images Into Video
Our biggest update this cycle: you can now generate a stylized video from any image. Whether it’s a portrait or a custom AI illustration, turning it into motion just takes a few clicks. You’ll now see a Create Video button on images you’ve made. The backend handles upscaling, default values, and model compatibility — the focus is on giving you more creative freedom.
Works with any image made on the platform
Handles models that do (or don’t) support image inputs
Automatically respects aspect ratio and resolution rules
Auto-refunds points (minus a service fee) if video generation fails
Full SVG Model Support
Our vector generation model Recraft SVG now has native SVG output. You’ll see the right file types when downloading, upscaling is disabled for SVGs (since it's not needed), and the download button delivers properly labeled .svg files. These changes make it easier to work with vector outputs across design and print workflows.
Browse Page Now Supports Video
The browse page has been completely refreshed. It now shows both images and videos in a single unified gallery, with filters to let you pick one media type or both.

This makes browsing more intuitive and immersive — especially for creators working across formats.
New Image Model: Seedream3
The new Seedream 3 model is now available for image creation. It supports more aspect ratios and improved style flexibility. It costs 10 points per generation and is fully integrated into existing pricing logic, model selection, and refund handling. You can use it anywhere you'd normally select a model: new creations, edits, and prompt tuner tools.
More Predictable Editing
We’ve implemented some improvements and bug fixes to image and video editing:
The edit dialog now opens reliably, regardless of ownership
Prompt edits, aspect ratio limits, and seed settings now adapt based on the selected model
Your media tab (image or video) stays in sync when switching prompts or loading saved edits
Better Video Handling
HD video streaming is smoother, with clear error messages if something goes wrong
Timed out or failed video jobs now auto-refund points (less a small fee)
All videos now stream securely from S3 using unique access tokens
Aspect ratio and duration settings are validated based on the video model in use
Every part of the video pipeline has been tested, hardened, and improved to reduce failed jobs and improve the overall experience.
Technical Cleanup
We tidied up a lot of legacy code under the hood:
Billing logic is now fully centralized in a single pricing schema
Media types are unified — less branching for images vs. videos
Media Gallery layout components are now unified across the browse and create pages, sharing critical code for browsing and filtering media.
Creator Onboarding Is Accelerating
On the marketing front, we’re kicking off multiple creator-facing programs:
A new Creative Partner Program (in progress)
Weekly reward challenges on X (formerly Twitter)
Targeted outreach through influencer and KOL campaigns
These efforts are all about building a vibrant, creator-focused ecosystem around the core tools — from generation to sharing to growth.
Coming Up Next.
Discoverable custom model library — work is underway to let you explore user-created or fine-tuned models right from the app.
More consistent account attribution — we’re fixing cases where creator profiles or links don’t show up properly on shared content.
Wrapping Up
This cycle focused heavily on creative flexibility — turning static images into animated motion, simplifying browsing, and laying the groundwork for deeper collaboration. If you haven’t tried image-to-video yet, we’d love to see what you make — just hop into your recent creations and look for the Create Video button. And as always, we’re all ears for what you'd like to see next.
As always you can follow our development efforts on the Fiddl Trello.
We are running weekly contests on the Fiddl Twitter as well.
